I love the boating lifestyle and getting others out on the water. For this reason, being a yacht broker is something that I find extremely enjoyable and fulfilling. I have a passion for boating and my wife, Linda, and I are very active with our local yacht clubs and often host both fun and educational events within the boating community. Being an avid boater, a licensed and bonded yacht and ship broker and a member of the California Yacht Brokers, Northwest Yacht Brokers and International Yacht Brokers Associations, I am in a great position to help my clients find exactly what they are looking for.
I represent both buyers and sellers. All my clients are of the utmost importance to me. I bring a lifetime of experience on the water and over 30 years of negotiating skill to each and every transaction. I am always available by phone, email or text for my clients and potential buyers for my listings. Assisting others to achieve their yachting dreams is the best part of my job and something I very much enjoy. Making sure my clients feel confident operating their new vessel is also very important to me so I offer on the water orientation and training on request. All skill levels welcome!
Some transactions can be rather complex in nature involving a variety of issues requiring an in depth understanding of our business. I am experienced with out of state sales and purchases, shipping, offshore deliveries and LLC transfers. I can also help in the acquisition of, or give referrals for, loans, insurance, captains, crew, slips, maintenance, repairs and many other things. I pride myself in making sure my clients get everything they need both during, and after, every sale or purchase.
I attend at least 8 boat shows per year including Seattle, Miami, Palm Beach, Newport Beach, San Diego and of course, Fort Lauderdale. This puts me in a unique position to be familiar with all the newest, luxury yachts on the market and all the pre-owned inventory available across the nation. During the shows I also have the opportunity to personally inspect and tour the yachts being presented. I can offer my opinion, pictures and video of any boat you may be interested in but not have the opportunity to see for yourself. If you do have the opportunity to attend the boat show, I can provide complimentary tickets and often provide access to great VIP parties and other events you may want to attend.
When I am not on the water, at the shows or working with clients, Linda and I enjoy spending time at our vacation home in Palm Springs, California and traveling throughout Europe, especially Italy. Linda is of Italian descent, and we were married in Ravello, on the Amalfi Coast, where we visit frequently and also enjoy boating in the Mediterranean and Tyrennian Sea. We are very active with our local yacht, tennis and golf clubs serving on various Boards and Committees donating our time to fun, worthy and charitable organizations and events.
I am very fortunate to be part of the dedicated team of yacht professionals and support staff at ALEXANDER MARINE USA. Our waterfront office in Seattle, WA is a spectacular place to work and visit. Clients can come by to view our available inventory, get brochures, see finish samples and place orders for new boats.
